We’re excited to announce that Newsroom Operations welcomes a brand new operations supervisor this week. Carlisa will likely be working carefully to streamline operations for the Worldwide Desk, working alongside the Senior Operations Supervisor, Rorna Richards. Carlisa will likely be tasked with every day scheduling, paying freelancers, sending money wires, deployment types and assist help the desk’s bureau budgets. She can even work on varied operational tasks.
Carlisa has 15 years expertise as an administrative skilled in finance and operations administration within the greater schooling sector. She is becoming a member of us from New York College’s Steinhardt Faculty the place she was the Administrative Director of the Division of Media, Tradition, and Communication. Because the Administrative Director she was chargeable for every day operations of payroll, budgeting, and main employees and school actions. She focuses on artistic problem-solving, implementing processes and dealing on cross-functional groups to take care of operational effectivity.
Carlisa has an MBA from Baruch’s Zicklin Faculty of Enterprise, and a Bachelor’s diploma in Media, Tradition, and Communication from NYU.
